The Resonance Code

Effective date: August 14, 2026 · The Resonance Code is our community guidelines. It applies everywhere Graxe members meet: in the app, at Graxe & Table, and at every Graxe Xperience.

Graxe chooses who sits at a table. That choice is worth something only if everyone at it behaves like they were chosen. This is what we expect, said plainly, so nobody has to guess.

The one rule

Leave people better than you found them. Everything below is that idea, applied.

1. Be the person in your profile

Your name, your age, your photographs, and your intentions should be true. Someone agreed to spend an evening with the person you described. Turning up as somebody else is the one thing that cannot be repaired over dessert.

This is not about being impressive. It is about being findable. The house can only introduce the real you.

2. Turn up, or say you cannot

A table is built around the people who said yes. When a seat empties without warning, the table is smaller, the conversation is thinner, and somebody who wanted that seat did not get it.

If you cannot come, cancel in the app. More than 24 hours out costs you nothing. Inside 24 hours it costs your cover charge, which is the honest price of a seat nobody else could take. Arrive on time. If you are running late, say so.

3. A table is a conversation, not an audience

The best guest is not the most interesting person at the table. It is the one who makes everyone else interesting.

Ask more than you answer. Notice who has not spoken and open a door for them. If you have been talking for a while, stop and hand it on. Nobody remembers the monologue fondly, including the person who gave it.

4. Disagree well

You will meet people who vote differently, believe differently, and live differently. That is not a flaw in the matching. It is most of the point.

Bring your opinions. Hold them lightly at the table. Argue with the idea and never with the person, and know the difference between a good disagreement and an evening someone else has to sit through.

5. Nobody here is a lead

Do not pitch, sell, recruit, fundraise, canvass, or collect contacts for anything. No businesses, no investments, no products, no causes, no downlines, no job interviews conducted under the cover of dinner.

If a real opportunity arises between two people who genuinely clicked, that is life. Arriving with it in your pocket is not.

6. Interest is welcome. Pressure is not

A Graxe & Table dinner is not a date, and the people at it did not agree to be pursued. Attraction happens, and there is nothing wrong with it. What matters is what you do with it.

Ask once, graciously. Accept the answer the first time it is given, including when it is given softly, changed subjects, or a look. Do not corner anyone, do not follow anyone out, and do not use the app afterwards to press a point that was already settled at the table. Nobody owes you their number, their attention, or an explanation.

7. Ask before you photograph

Do not photograph, film, or record anyone at a table without asking, and do not post an image of another member anywhere without their agreement. Some members are here quietly and have every right to be.

Where Graxe has arranged a photographer, we say so before you book, and you can decline on the night without giving a reason.

8. Phones face down

Take the call you have to take, and step away to take it. Beyond that, leave it alone. An evening with strangers only works if everyone is actually in the room.

9. Know your limits

Drink if you want to, and stop well before it stops being your decision. If an Xperience involves anything physical, do that part sober.

Look after the person who has misjudged it. Make sure they get home. That is what the rest of the table is for.

10. Settle up cleanly

Your cover charge holds your seat. Your dinner is your own bill. Pay your share promptly and without a performance, tip properly, and never let the end of a good evening turn into an argument about arithmetic.

If money is tight, order accordingly. Nobody at a Graxe table should ever feel they have to spend beyond themselves to belong at it.

11. Allergies are yours to raise

Graxe does not pass dietary needs to venues. Tell your server directly when you order, every time, however well you think you know the kitchen. This one is too important to hand to anybody else.

12. What is said at the table stays at the table

People say true things at dinner with strangers precisely because it feels safe. Protect that. Do not repeat someone's story with their name attached, do not screenshot a conversation into a group chat, and do not turn an evening into content.

Discretion is not a rule we enforce with technology. It is the thing that makes the whole house work.

13. The staff are not scenery

How you treat the server tells the table everything about you, faster and more accurately than anything you will say all night. Be gracious with venue staff, and leave the room the way you would want to find it.

14. If something is wrong, tell us

If a member makes you uncomfortable, at a table or in the app, tell us at legal@graxe.ai. You do not need proof, you do not need to be certain, and you do not need to have handled it perfectly in the moment.

We read every report. We will not tell the person you reported them. We will never seat you with them again. And nothing you tell us affects your standing, your key, or your introductions.

If you are in danger, contact emergency services first and us afterwards.

15. The lines that are never crossed

Everything above is about being good company. This is different. These are not matters of judgement or degree, and there is no version of them we will weigh up:

If you are struggling, please talk to someone. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We would rather you were well than that you were a member.

16. What happens when someone breaks this

It depends on what happened. Sometimes a quiet word. Sometimes we stop seating someone at tables. For anything involving dishonesty about identity, harassment, unwanted pursuit, or harm to another person, we remove the member and we do not agonise about it.

We do not run a public tribunal and we do not explain one member's removal to another. A member removed for conduct is not refunded.

These Guidelines sit alongside our Terms of Service and Events Policy, which are the binding agreements. Where something here is also in those documents, those govern.
