Accessibility
Last reviewed: October 12, 2026
Graxe is built so that people can use it whatever their sight, hearing, or way of working a screen. This page says where we stand, what we have checked, and how to tell us when we have got it wrong.
1. What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA on graxe.ai. That is the standard most organisations and app stores work to. We are not claiming a formal certification, and we would rather tell you plainly where we are than imply more than we have tested.
2. What we have checked
On October 12, 2026 we reviewed every page on this site and confirmed the following, by measuring the pages as a browser actually renders them rather than by reading our own code:
- Every page declares its language, so a screen reader pronounces it correctly.
- Every page has one main heading, and heading levels run in order without skipping.
- Every image carries alternative text, or is marked as decoration so a screen reader passes over it.
- Every form field has a label, and every button and link has a name that says what it does.
- Every page has a "Skip to content" link, so a keyboard user can jump past the menu.
- Every page marks its main content as a landmark that assistive software can jump to.
- No page scrolls sideways, at desktop width or at phone width.
- Motion on the site stops for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion.
- Text we have measured against its background meets the contrast the standard asks for.
3. Where we know we fall short
We would rather name these than wait until they are perfect.
- Our films do not yet carry captions or transcripts. This is the gap we are most aware of and the one we are working on first. If you want a transcript of any film on the site, write to us and we will send you one.
- Some decorative motion is driven by the browser rather than by a setting you can turn off from the page itself. Turning on "reduce motion" on your device does stop it.
- We have tested with keyboard navigation and with automated checks. We have not yet run a full review with a person who uses a screen reader every day. We intend to.
4. How to reach a person
If any part of this site stops you doing what you came to do, tell us and we will fix it or find you another way through. Please say which page, what you were trying to do, and what you use to browse, if you are comfortable sharing that.

We aim to reply within five working days. An accessibility problem that stops you using the site is treated as a fault, not a feature request.
5. This page
We review this statement whenever the site changes materially, and at least twice a year. The date at the top is when it was last checked, not simply when it was written.
